UK Sex Workers Deported from USA
14/05/2023Lulu’s Luxe Hotel Ideas – South & Midlands
11/09/2023Are you a worker new to escorting? Perhaps you’ve just started at Lulu Black and are wondering what you need to carry with you to a date? This blog post is for you. It kind of assumes the date is shorter than an overnight. If you are staying overnight, your packing may be slightly more thorough. Otherwise though, we want to be travelling light.
Condoms
If you were to turn up to a booking with just one item, condoms would be it. Men come in all different sizes, and your condom purse should reflect that. I recommend plenty of ‘regular’, a good amount of ‘large’ and then a few ‘small/trim’ too. Put a regular condom on a gent who is small and it is likely to come off. Put a regular condom on a gent who is large and it’s likely to split and/or roll down. Investing in different sized condoms in crucial. There is absolutely no need to spend a small fortune on small packs on condoms in Tescos or wherever. Instead head to the NHS Freedoms Shop to buy in bulk. When you’re hiding bulk bags of condoms around your house you’ve officially made it to the giddy heights of sex work – congratulations!
PS: also grab a small bottle of lubricant. It’s always useful, even if you don’t use it on yourself. And remember, as soon as the condom starts feeling ‘dry’, it’s time to take it off and swap to a new one. Dry condoms = broken condoms.
Phone
Obviously never leave home without your phone. But make sure it’s pin / fingerprint / facial recognition locked with no identifiable images as your wallpaper. Put your phone on silent during meetings, but keep it close by.
Purse
I carry very little to bookings in my purse. I don’t take my regular purse which is crammed with tons of shit:- photos, cards, old receipts etc. Instead I take a reduced version. A few notes, maybe £40 max. A debit card and a credit card. No ID. Some coins. I always carry enough that I can pay for parking at the venue and also refuel. Were I were relying on public transport, I would be carrying enough to ensure I could hop in a cab home. It’s never wise to assume you will get your hands on the client’s money and rely on that to fund your journey home. Always carry enough to cover you if the meeting gets cancelled last minute.
Sponges
It makes absolutely no business sense whatsoever to stop working during your period. Cutting off income for 1 week of out 4 can be a disaster and it’s also completely unnecessary. A lot of new escorts are really anxious about working during their period – but speak to an experienced worker and she won’t give her period any consideration. With the right product, a client will never know it’s that time of the month. Sponges (essentially tampons without strings which you push up to the opening of your cervix) take a bit of getting used to, so I recommend trying them out a few times before using them professionally. The brand I recommend: Beppy Soft Comfort Wet. Like any tampons, make sure you don’t forget you have inserted it. Stick a reminder if your phone if you are prone to forgetfulness.
Lingerie
Matching lingerie a must. I recommend wearing a sexy but comfortable set to the meeting, and carrying an extra more fiddly set in your bag to change into. So for example I often wearing a matching sexy bra and thong with hold ups (I would ditch the latter if it’s boiling out) under my clothes, and I would carry a different bra, knickers, suspenders, stockings set in my bag. Some clients are big into stockings and suspenders, but they are a pain to travel in. I recommend you always carry them.
Toys
If you are working with Lulu Black, be assured that I will never tell a client you will bring toys along. The rule at Lulu Black is if you enjoy particular toys you will automatically take them along, and if you don’t, you won’t. If you enjoy vibrators/dildos and what not, put a few in your bag. If not, you can buy a small vibrating wand and take that along. These are toys for use on you, I should add. If the client has toys he wants to use on himself, he will supply them. So toys are not a necessity but can definitely add to the enjoyment of a meeting. Only if you – the worker – enjoy them though.
Shoes
I never travel anywhere in heels. I have some smart ballet pumps to travel in and I wear those literally right the point I am knocking on the client’s hotel room / house door. Then I whip my heels out of my bag and swap them over. In terms of heels, and especially if we are gong to dinner, I will never wear super high ones. Invest in a pair that a high enough to look sexy, but not so high they are hard to walk in.
Jewellery
Be careful about wearing expensive jewellery and watches. Yes there’s a risk the customer could pinch something, but with our rigorous screening processes at Lulu Black it’s unlikely. More likely is you take it off and forget to pick it back up again, or God forbid you get mugged walking back to your car after the date. You’re essentially going to be in major cities after dark. Accessorise accordingly.
Drinks & Snacks
Carry a bottle of water without fail. And snacks as you see appropriate depending on journey lengths.
Getting Paid
You collect your cash in the first 10 mins. If it is not offered, ask for it. Always and without fail count it – even if you have met the client 20 times before. Mistakes happen. Money should always be in British Pounds Sterling. Notes have become more advanced since the last time I wrote a post on this topic (on another website), but you may want to consider carrying a fake notes detector pen just in case anything feels a little off. If you do not screen your clients, this pen is an absolutely necessity.
Sundries & Other Considerations
Massage oil is always a good idea (condom safe). Baby wipes/make up wipes. Small amount of makeup for tops ups. Paracetamol or Ibuprofen just in case you get a headache. Driving? Make sure you have breakdown cover on your car: punctures happen as do oil leaks and other calamities. I’ll always remember when I was working as an escort and broke down in the services of the M1 at 2am. It was hellish. Also make sure you have a decent sat nav system and be sure to check out the parking options at the venue before you set off. Ring the hotel if you need to and ask them. Finding parking on the hop when you are already a little late is stressful. Be captain organised, always.
